Monument de los niños Heroes

Graham at the Bosque de Chapultepec

The 23' high statue was found 30 miles from the city in a dry stream bed in the village of Coatlinchan. The unfinished statue dates from the 5th century AD and represents the rain god of the Aztecs, Teotihuacans and Toltecs. On the day of its removal to Mexico City, 16 April 1964, there was a heavy rain storm.
